El desaf\u00edo consist\u00eda en arrebatarles a los canadienses el record mundial de permanencia continua interpretando un concierto. Ese record, registrado en el libro Guiness de la edici\u00f3n de 2002, afirmaba que el grupo canadiense toc\u00f3 durante 182 horas continuadas.

\nEsto significa que la misi\u00f3n a alcanzar no era f\u00e1cil. Sin embargo, apretaron los dientes y lograron batir el record. El mismo se llev\u00f3 a cabo entre el 23 y el 31 de marzo recientes y tocaron por 184 horas, superando en dos horas al record canadiense. El total de m\u00fasicos e instrumentistas que participaron del eventos fueron mas de novecientos.<\/p>\n

Durante una parte del concierto, donde una pianista estaba tocando un airado pasaje junto a la orquesta, se registr\u00f3 un sismo de casi 7 grados en la escala de Richter que sacudi\u00f3 a todo el escenario. La pianista, sin embargo, no despeg\u00f3 los dedos de su piano y sigui\u00f3 interpretando la pieza como sin nada.
