Seg\u00fan sabemos y como nos dice toda historia del piano<\/a>, este instrumento musical<\/a> fue inventado por un italiano nacido en Padua llamado Bartolomeo Crist\u00f3fori. Este italiano era en realidad un constructor de clavecines (grabic\u00e9mbalos) a los cuales les realiz\u00f3 una asombrosa y revolucionaria modificaci\u00f3n a su mecanismo. Como sabemos los clavecines no admiten obtener sonidos mas fuertes o mas suaves en funci\u00f3n de la fuerza con que se presionen sus teclas.

\"Bartolomeo<\/center>
\nEn el piano de Crist\u00f3fori, de los cuales quedan solamente tres en existencia exponi\u00e9ndose uno de ellos en el Museo Metropolitano de Arte de la ciudad de Nueva York<\/a>, se permite la generaci\u00f3n de sonidos fuertes y suaves en funci\u00f3n de la fuerza con que se presionen las teclas. Esto se debe al revolucionario concepto de \u00abescape\u00bb mediante el cual funcionaba el mecanismo del piano. Si observamos la fotograf\u00eda que sigue la cual corresponde a uno de los tres ejemplares que quedan, el mismo es un simple clave con el mecanismo modificado.
