Blige gan\u00f3 como banda favorita de soul\/rhythm y mejor \u00e1lbum por \u00abThe Breakthrough\u00bb. Ella fue adem\u00e1s elegida como mejor artista femenina R&B. Acept\u00f3 el premio de la mano de Britney Spears, quien luc\u00eda un vestido color crema, largo hasta los tobillos y su t\u00edpico largo cabello rubio.<\/p>\n

El ganador del Oscar, Jamie Foxx fue nombrado como mejor artista masculino de soul\/rhythm & blues.<\/p>\n
