Bueno, por lo menos 12 personas conocen la relaci\u00f3n, luego de escuchar la presentaci\u00f3n de Lawrence Libin en el Museo de Arte Cedar Rapidsm realizada recientemente. Libin, antiguo encargado de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pianomundo.com.ar\/instrumentos\/\">los instrumentos musicales<\/a> del Museo Metropolitano de Arte de la Ciudad de Nueva York, habl\u00f3 por casi dos horas acerca de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pianomundo.com.ar\/informacion.htm\">la historia del piano<\/a>.<br \/>\n<center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pianomundo.com.ar\/images\/mueble2.jpg\" alt=\"Mueble de piano con patas redondeadas\" \/><\/center><br \/>\nEntre otras cosas dijo que los pianos primitivos ten\u00edan patas rectas, siguiendo el estilo de la ropa de l\u00edneas rectas que utilizaban las mujeres en ese tiempo. Pero en el a\u00f1o 1800 aproximadamente, cuando los vestidos rectos cambiaron a aquellos con aros y encaje, tambi\u00e9n lo hicieron las patas del piano. \u201cLos pianos luc\u00edan del mismo modo, con curvas y encaje,\u201d dijo Libin.   <\/p>\n<p>Y continuando a\u00f1adi\u00f3: \u201cLa raz\u00f3n era porque los hombres dise\u00f1aban los pianos teniendo en mente las caracter\u00edsticas de las mujeres que les gustaban, desde entonces fueron considerados, en aquella \u00e9poca, como instrumentos femeninos.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Recordemos que el piano se invent\u00f3 en Italia alrededor de los comienzos del 1700, pero Libin dijo que no se volvi\u00f3 popular hasta que la Reina Charlotte de Inglaterra tuvo uno. Una vez que ella comenz\u00f3 a tomar <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pianomundo.com.ar\/lecciones.html\">lecciones de piano<\/a>, todos los pertenecientes a la clase media tambi\u00e9n quer\u00edan tener uno.<br \/>\n<center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pianomundo.com.ar\/images\/mueblepiano.jpg\" alt=\"Mueble de un piano\" \/><\/center><br \/>\nLibin mostr\u00f3 diapositivas para ilustrar los cambios en el dise\u00f1o del piano a trav\u00e9s de los a\u00f1os y de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pianomundo.com.ar\/mecanismo.html\">sus mecanismos<\/a>. Incluyendo <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pianomundo.com.ar\/galeria.htm\">fotos del piano<\/a> m\u00e1s viejo del mundo y uno construido con 20 tipos diferentes de madera. Entre otros ejemplos del conocimiento de Libin en esta materia, se encontraba el predecesor de los pedales de pie y <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pianomundo.com.ar\/teclado.html\">del teclado<\/a> extendido para los duetos acomodados.
